Draw for the 2014 World Cup is on Saturday.

England are in Pot 1 if anyone's interested. All of the info is on fifa.com

France Pot 2!

It's possible for England, France, Wales, ROI and Scotland to be in the same group.

Would love that.

Top story on Clarin (Argentine paper) is that they might bin the changes as everyone (correctly) thinks it is an appalling idea.

Just read it, according to Clarín the Argentine president herself has ordered them not to do it (Argentine elections are in 3 months).

And they cite an AFA member admitting that it was River's relegation what motivated the proposal, as the TV networks don't want a top flight without one of the biggest teams. Shocking stuff that.

Pretty much down to this joker (Grondona) Messi...

Although from what I can gather it was the government who came up with this shit idea. (I assume to protect/increase their revenues from TV advertising as they broadcast all the games) and as VI said above the people have been massively against it so it would be a piss poor idea to push it through before elections.

Man Utd. on the loose in NYC...

A witness told us: "The team and their staff took over half the restaurant. Once the music started after dinner, they were dancing on the tables and the banquettes to the deejay. Some were wearing flapper headbands taken from the girls, masks and gangster hats. They were handed tambourines and maracas. One player even donned a fake moustache.

"Then the belly dancers came out and they were mesmerized. Ryan Giggs got up and was dancing with a belly dancer on a table, the guys were laughing. They all left at around 1 a.m. They invited a few girls onto the team bus with them, and two went."

Didn't take long for Montenegro to fly up the pots. Crazy that the Faroes are ahead of Wales and Iceland though.

I should think our position in these will change drastically with the introduction of Marveux, Cabaye and Ben Arfa. Vuckic's goal from last night for ewas from a fast break come to think about it.

What the hell is a fast break?  A goal within a timeframe from a regain of possesion in our own box?  What is this timeframe.
