M4
Sam Hutchinson has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with Chelsea just 16 months after announcing his retirement. The defender, 22, who came through the club's academy, made four appearances for the Blues before a knee injury forced him to quit in August 2010. However, Hutchinson, who was earmarked as one for the future by former Blues boss Jose Mourinho, realised the pain had gone while coaching at Chelsea. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15993883.stm Nice story. Interpolic
Just noticed that Steve Staunton's wiki page contains this gem Prior to the Holland game, Staunton was confronted and threatened by a man outside the team hotel on Monday 14 August with a gun that turned out to be an imitation Uzi machine gun. Mystery surrounds the identity of Staunton's attacker, but some believe that he came from the future and was sent back in time to stop the madness before it began. It is believed that he failed due to the Novikov self-consistency principle preventing a grandfather paradox. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Staunton Class that like.
