Pata
It's a vowel in Finnish and without giving it any further thought I assumed they are the same in every language. As I said, mind blown.
newsted
Tbf it's not sure what it is in English. A bit of a vowelonant, if you will, a rebel letter not to be pigeonholed, perhaps. That crazy English language, eh?

I thought Y was a vowel. [edit] Ah, so it can be either a vowel or a consonant. Not sure it would be a consonant in these names though.

I thought Y was a vowel It's a sneaky bastard, which sometimes pretends it's a vowel. You guys are brave people learning how complicated language. TaylorJ_01
Interview with zlatan in shortlist this week. Q: the worst thing about training? A: I score some great goals in training. The 4th goal I scored against England had people saying it was footballs greatest goal ever, but the truth is that it is not even the greatest goal I have ever scored. If you see some of the goals I have scored in training and some of the things I had done you would not believe it.
Cajun
I really hope this is true - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2303426/Taribo-West-accused-lying-28-40.html These stories never make sense to me. At age 40 he was claiming to be 28. Did he just not play until he was 30? Or play at a level so low it was never registered? How comes he became so good when most other players careers start to decline? There are late starters but it seems odd a player would be better at 40 than they were at 25, 27 etc.. when they are supposed to be at their peak?
