Ronaldo
He did well enough. Didn't save anything I wouldn't have expected a PL keeper to, mind.

Guest Stephen927
Most of the time the ball heads into the opposite corner from that position. Harper would have had to commit to it before it left Collins head to have a chance of getting to it.

Nordstrom
It just doesn't seem right to blame Harper for that goal. He was wrong-footed (and somewhat justified considering the trajectory of the ball) at the time, and Collins got a devilish connection with the ball at quite a sharp angle. Even with that in mind, he was quite close to tipping it out considering where he was placed. It was a decent effort but he was just unlucky there. Guest Stephen927
Only seen 2 people in the match thread saying it was Harpers fault. I think majority are saying there wasn't much else he could do.
JH
The header was absolutely spot on, into the top corner. No goalkeeper would have saved it, if anyone is stopping that it's a defender.

Guest MrSundlofer
A decision on Steve Harper on Thursday if he needs an operation or not. If he needs an operation = out for the rest of season.
Keefaz
May as well take the operation. Best to get it out the way and start pre-season training with nee worries.

EthiGeordie
I think it is better if we let Harps go in the summer. I like him but I dont think he is the best keeper at the club if we add up his injury problems and all. I like him and I feel sorry to say this but it is what it is. Guest MrSundlofer
I think it is better if we let Harps go in the summer. Why? He's experienced, a role model for younger goalkeepers at the club, has been the club faithful and he probably knows the club best of all players here. Keep him, no doubt. I don't expect him to be first choice next season but his experience is vital. And he has 1-2 seasons left. Just let him finish his career here. Simple. sh74
Think we should be spending money on a quality keeper this summer.
SEMTEX
REJECTED. 2 young keepers, 1 who has proven himself playing for Celtic. Why on earth would we use out precious monies on a GK? Would be a massive error.
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Think we should be spending money on a quality keeper this summer. Nope. Need strikers. Harper, Krul and Forster are all good enough.
EthiGeordie
And he has 1-2 seasons left. Just let him finish his career here. Simple. We can not let Krul and Forster leave on loan every year to satisfy a good servant. They have to compete for the no1 shirt here. that will be our Goalkeeping due for the next 10 years like Given and Harper were in the past. I like the way he servers this club but we have to look for the future and if we lose Krul or Forster because of this it will be yet another great mistake by the club.
