Kinnear has even spoke in the past about wanting to be a DoF and said that he would have no problem with wanting to sack a manager performing poorly and then stepping in to perform his role. Certainly this season people wouldn't automatically stop going. I know I wouldn't as already bought season ticket so why would I.
