LRD
Fans outside the clubs Owen had played for seem to think favorably of him. He has rode much on his early career and reputation.
Guest firetotheworks
Definitely. As much as people mock the likes of Torres, Ronaldinho etc. They're there to be mocked because they're putting themselves out there to succeed or fail. Not only did Owen never reach the heights of those players, he's never put himself in a position to fail or succeed like them. Yet he's kept the reputation in the media. His spine is jelly. Mick
Level 7 cost the club £10 million more than Michael Owen cost the club.
Guest KeithKettleborough
If he gets a regular spot on Match of The Day, we are still going to pay for him via the licence fee. His contributions as an analyst on one game were slaughtered on Twitter and hardly anyone had a good work to say for him. However, when have the BBC taken any notice of licence payers feelings, so be prepared to see a lot more of him on tv than we did as a player for us. Chrisjraby
The arrogant prick is now complaining that Capello stopped him being England's greatest goalscorer as he refused to watch him at Newcastle and therefore pick him. Why can't he just fuck off.

AyeDubbleYoo
I just think he knew his body wasn't capable of playing regular football, so he signed for Man Utd when he knew he wouldn't get many games. Why they wanted him is another matter like, don't really understand that.

Runner
Can't understand what Stoke are thinking of in leaving him out. He's proved in the past that he's the perfect man for a relegation battle, hasn't he ? Oh, wait....
LRD
Must be one of those FM bugs where the player is set to retire at season's end and yet complain about lack of game time.
Cajun
Knowing Owen he is only complaining so the last people remember of him is being desperate to play rather than the lazy cunt who would "rather sit on the bench at a big club etc.."...
prefabtoon
Owen handed lead co-commentator role for BT Sport's football coverage. Michael Owen will be the lead co-commentator for BT Sport's football coverage. Owen Hargreaves, Steve McManaman, David James and Rio Ferdinand will also appear as BT pundits and presenters but it is the former England striker who has been given the top gig. And Owen later tweeted: 'I'm delighted to confirm that next season I will be working with the exciting new sports channel BT Sport! @BTSport - I can't wait!' Marouane Fellaini, Daniel Sturridge, Joe Hart and Thomas Vermaelen will also join Gareth Bale, Robin van Persie and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain - whose involvement was already announced as the channel's promotional faces. So happy for Michael Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2321871/BT-Sport-Michael-Owen-lead-commentator--prices-pundits-game-season-more.html#ixzz2SoqtgaMq
