I love the line;

'No Boro fans their like.' In reference to the 49,000 mags.

This game was on TV in bad weather and the weekend before Christmas, they seem happy to ignore they pulled in a whole 15k less for Villa at home.

Bitter Mackems about us taking their record :

http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=461455

Basically , a load of shit about catchment areas and football starting in 1992.

11 pages about our attendance

14

Sunderland... Famous for Newcastle...

So damn right like.

I wish I could be one of those who gets behind their region, but its god honest impossible with their obsession with us.

In the prem, doing well and by all accounts having a great period in their recent history especially with us where we are (the total opposite) yet cannot stop talking about us and our attendance. Attendances don't make a great club, but by god do they weed out the shite ones with their inferiority complex.

Talking about population and stuff  :colo:

What fucking difference does it make? If it was in the top flight and we were good they might have an argument!

The second highest crowd of the weekend was us. Deal with it you bitter mackem bastards  ;D

they only did at their championship winning game

I don't think they did to be honest!

Weird 606 quote on the BBC site report

"I quite like Newcastle and have good friends who support them, but some Geordie fans were way off the mark in predicting that they would teach Boro a footballing lesson"

Ok, thanks very much.

anyone see steve 'camp' taylor at the end ?

took his top off to reveal a vest (?) then went to the soldiers and  gave the campest, music hall, girly military salute i've ever seen.

Any videos of it?

It's hard to say that it's "good times" considering the precarious long term position this club finds itself in, but there is definitely a positive vibe at the moment. Ten points above third now. This is an ideal time to seperate ourselves further as it provides incentive for us to bring in PL quality players in the next month.

Oh no. Now that is a misjudgement, however well intentioned.

Strange, I though technically half of Tyneside was north of Newcastle, then you have Blyth, Bedlington, Ashington, Morpeth, Widdrington, Amble, Newbiggin, Alnwick, Bamborogh, and Berwick to say the least.

Anyone just catch that unbelievably biased Sky Sports news report on this match?

Fucking hell  ;D

Talked about boro like they were Brazil

That was one poor Boro team.

It was the worst I have seen Julio Arca play against us.

Wheater looked your run of the mill lanky defender if they get offered out over £5 million for him they should deal on the last two games I have seen him play.
