M4
Danny Simpson the lucky charm. Danny Simpson in a suit! Eureka!
Super Duper Branko Strupar
He's a different man from last year. He's bigger, stronger, quicker, more explsove. A massive change. He looks confident in himself and settled probably for the first time in his career.
Guest palnese
THAT tackle on Nasri in the first half.
Cajun
Don't want to get too excited just yet but if he keeps this up we have solved a massive problem.
Dave
It was overlooked slightly in the mackems game but his pace and tackle on Welbeck at the beginning (the one where he should have played Bent in) was excellent.
Guest Heneage
Along with Barton gives us a strong right side.
Cajun
Good point about Barton, Simpson hasn't had the greatest protection before.
Pilko
Excellent today.
Chris_R
Really didn't rate him when we signed him or at all for that matter last season, but I'm going to eat humble pie and say he's pretty much won me over in the last few matches. Starting to look like an excellent player.

Aye, I picked up on that one.
Skeletor
Made a great block on Chamakh in the second half stopping him getting a tap in.

Nobody
It was overlooked slightly in the mackems game but his pace and tackle on Welbeck at the beginning (the one where he should have played Bent in) was excellent. Aye, I picked up on that one. He was magnificent during the entire game. Didn't notice him that much when watching it live, but when I had a second look, he barely put a foot wrong all game. Fantastic again today, the Nasri tackle was Tiote-class.
Guest Ridzuan
I cant say how glad I am that Danny is back playing for us. His performance since he's been back just show how much we have missed him. Perch was rubbish when he was given the chance. Now we have a proper RB who can keep it up in the Premier League. S.Taylor will have a difficult time coming back into the team.

Mick
He's a strange player, he looks better in the Premiership than the Championship.
ponsaelius
He's a strange player, he looks better in the Premiership than the Championship. That's what I was thinking. Must be true that he was carrying an injury last season.
Disco
Still backs off too much for my liking but has been superb last couple of games. Long may it continue.
Pilko
He backed off on one particular breakaway in the first half and then made an excellent challenge, the one that also injured Nasri. Two birds, one stone and all that.
wormy
Fantastic today. If he can keep this form up, we're sorted as a first 11 in my opinion for the season. Nothing to worry about as long as injuries don't take too much of a toll.
Guest neesy111
Amazing how just putting a competent RB in the team, makes such a massive difference.

He is playing better now than at any other time that he has been here. I am delighted, cos I didn't totally agree with all his knockers. Aye, his positional sense needed to be worked on, but he is is improving and I can see him being a bit like Jose (who was slagged off quite a bit when he first came, and is now fucking awesome). I think Barton being on the right side is helping him quite a bit, with Bartons 'leadership' if you like, and keeping him right.
