Teasy
Leeds did the right thing in not caving in to a want away player. We'll see, if they don't go up they might deeply regret it.
Guest SpinTheBlackCircle
Ashley's tight-cuntedness strikes again. Wonder what Hughton thinks? Oh well, it was probably to be expected anyway. spending over £2m on him would be madness :idiot2:
jong24
Ashley, Ronaldo, you are both knobs if you didn't think this guy was worth a £2M punt.
Dinho lad
better than i though he would be. His runs are quite good and dosen't lose the ball often. Offer them shola in a swap deal.

Jayson
Wonder if leeds would swap their midfield for ours given the choice ?
Amir_9
Wonder if leeds would swap their midfield for ours given the choice ? Probably, from what ive seen on other championship teams forums, they seem to rate our midfield more than we do.
Ronaldo
Leeds' midfield absolutely puts ours to shame. Kisnorbo would also challenege for a play in our team, he looks solid as a rock.
Teasy
Yeah I'm sure their midfield (and the entire team in fact) would do just as well against these teams every week as they do in one off cup games

Is that the Aussie? Thought he was quality against Man United.

Thespence
Leeds did the right thing in not caving in to a want away player. We'll see, if they don't go up they might deeply regret it. With tv money + crowd money they will be closing in on the mighty £1.5 million offer of ours. They held there nerve & are better off for it.

The money from the replay against the Spuds? Tv money from yesterdays game, % from profit the game at WHL, decent crowd at Elland road & I would imagine the replay is going to be on tv. Plus all the extras the feel good factor brings.
Guest Phil K
Someone was telling me that Beckford has now signed a pre-contract with Everton. That right ? Sort of shows Newcastle's penny pinching up (and some on here who threw tantrums when certain people said he'll end up at some Prem team - although the reason why it's Everton is probably no fee paid) and Leeds lose out on ANY money. Ken Bates said we offered £2.25m for Beckford. Everton offered nothing but are probably getting Beckford for free in the Summer. How is that Newcastle penny pinching? Everton run a tight ship with little money for transfers. It is however a fact that Everton are a lot more attractive proposition to a player than we are currently. It's not like Leeds would have forced Beckford out if they'd accepted the fee from Newcastle. The player has the power and as soon as he knew about the Everton offer he was probably very happy to sit tight, run his contract down and join Everton in the Summer. He can't sign a pre-contract with an English club until a month before his deal ends, so that's probably unlikely.
Teasy
Word is that we are about to sign Edward Ofere from Malmo. Anyone able to give me any information about him? 23 year old 6 foot 3 striker, played a few games for Nigeria. Goal record isn't great, especially considering he's playing in Sweden (22 goals in 78 games).
