Ash
After a few lads ran onto the pitch when we equalised against Bristol City, it got me wondering if there'd be a pitch invasion if we win the league/are promoted. If you happened to be at the game which saw us win promotion, what would you do?
JH
It'd be a tad ridiculous if we did.
SEMTEX
No. But not because I feel it's "beneath us", just because... well, erm, fuck it.. it's beneath us.
binnsy
well we did when we went up last time we won promotion.
ponsaelius
Hmm, nah. Same reason I wouldn't want to have any open top bus parades or owt.
Robster
If it is clinched at SJP there wont be an invasion. Guaranteed to happen away from home.
J7
Not sure ill be able to scale the drop down from Level 7 tbh. haha.
ElDiablo
Small pitch invasions just after goals are good because it's just pure joy and emotion overriding everything else. For promotion though I'd say it was a bit cringe worthy.
Ketsbaia
a pitch invasion implies that we've overachieved. we haven't. shouldn't even be down here in the first place.
Kaizero
a pitch invasion implies that we've overachieved. we haven't. shouldn't even be down here in the first place. Pretty much this.

Robster
a pitch invasion implies that we've overachieved. we haven't. shouldn't even be down here in the first place. Yes we should. We were one of the 3 worst teams/clubs in the Premier League last year. The club got everything it deserved.

We were one of the 3 worst teams/clubs in the Premier League last year. The club got everything it deserved. It's more of a "the club shouldn't have got into this state" rather than a "WE WERE ROBBED!!1" statemenet I think, in which case he's right. A club of this stature, that only 7 years ago was involved in Champions League football and fighting for the title, shouldn't be in this division and so a promotion should be seen as progress back to where we need to go, rather than a sign that we've achieved something. Ronaldo
There defintely will be a pitch invasion like, if we seal it away from home.

We were one of the 3 worst teams/clubs in the Premier League last year. The club got everything it deserved. it took a monumental effort from mike ashley to get us relegated. even then we were only one goal away from staying up. Thespence
Loving the snobs in here don't go fucking all Roy Keane on winning the CCC. I am against pitch charging though.
nufcmichael
Depends, if everybody else does, then yes. Of course I have to attend the match as well which means it should be Blackpool, Reading or Ipswich. Maybe like when Stoke drew 0-0 with Leicester and got promoted 2 years ago? Guest toonlass
There used to be a couple of lads who sat next to me who looked like they had just come from a Franz Ferdinand school of dressing and who were so cool they didn't even celebrate goals. If they hadn't moved at the end of the game I would have thought NUFC had placed a couple of TopMan dummies in the seats.
dinotheprehistoricgeordie
No because I'm in level 7 if it's a home. By the time I get to the pitch everyone would have left.
Mr. Snrub
I really hope no one does. Antics of a small time club that.
Ronaldo
I really hope no one does. Antics of a small time club that. Why, because the pricks at Old Trafford or the Camp Nou wouldn't do it? Nowt wrong with a pitch invasion to celebrate going up. We did it at Grimsby and it'll happen at Plymouth or Reading or wherever. Can't wait to see the threads appear on here from all the lads sat at their monitors in all their dignified glory.
madras
i did the previous two times. think i'm a bit old for it now though.
Fenham Mag
I really doubt there will be a pitch invasion. The design of small lower tiers at St.James doesn't exactly lend itself to a pitch invasion , if you know what i mean. There might be a few on the pitch but not many.
