It's incredible really, they've just won 4-0 and still their forum is full of people slagging each other off, bitching and generally arguing over who the real sewpafan is.  I guess even mackems don't like mackems.

I know a Sunderland fan who hates Mackems and the town - says he can't get out of the place quick enough when a game is over.  (He lives in Northumberland).  He can't explain how he has ended up supporting them.

???

That's not unusual. There's a real dislike of what they call the "townies" amongst fans from outside the city centre.

'They are very very lucky like, but they also do absolutely anything to win. Putting the keeper off from set pieces and standing right infront of him, diving all over as if they have been shot (mainly horrible twat s taylor) and getting in the refs face constantly much like John Terry does for Chelsea, all of this just makes my hatred for the lucky cheating black and white b**tards grow more each day!!!'

We're lucky?

Anyone read/hear Bruce's post match comments?  The ramblings of an insane man.

He mentions the derby loss twice (he really can't let that go).  "Mass hysteria from the fans and the media just because we lost to Newcastle" or words to that effect.

I suppose the utter dross his team serves up, a terrible home record, money spent, players leaving and the same old excuses from Brewcie have nowt to do with this 'mass hysteria' does it you hopeless cunt.

The bloke is such a cunt, I struggle to even laugh at him now.  Just an irritating red faced, rotund wanker.

So we've got a pact with the devil which keeps Best scoring, we've infiltrated EA to unfairly inflate our player ratings in video games so that players think we're a better team than we are and are more likely to join us, we control the local, national, TV and print media, we have referees in our pocket, Sunderland players and managers deliberately fail because they're closeted Newcastle fans, outside of football we use our influence to get Toon fans on to adverts, keep the Tyneside propaganda going with unfairly excessive coverage of things like the Great North Run...  This is beyond the usual football related bitterness, do the denizens of RTG get changed in the cupboard because they think Mags are spying on them through a camera in that round hole in the light fitting?

I guess the conspiracy theories and superstitions are easier than admitting that maybe their team isn't as amazing as they thought and our players aren't all as Championship level as they've imagined...

Love it how on RTG they seem to genuinely believe Cabaye and Tiote are shit.

they have created an alternate reality where they believe this stuff is true. trouble isthey agree on nowt about thier own club and tear each other to pieces every 5 mins.

Funnily enough, aside from racist 70s sitcoms and modern day ijnternet mackems I don't think I've heard someone described as a "spear-chucker".

it was the racism. and obsession with neighbours I was thinking about, endless  hilarity

So has their first win this season (2nd home win in about 11?) blinded some delusional old souls? A huge deflection, an own goal, a goalie howler, and a set piece the goalkeeper should have saved.

Europe certs.
