KaKa
Taarabt is a tremendous player. However if Ben Arfa is going to be playing behind the striker, then where would he fit in? Don't like him out wide as much. Fantastic player though, and I think people dismiss him too easily.

toptoon
Good player, but we don't really need him. We need a top fullback and a top goalscoring striker and a top CB. He seems to have a real attitude problem, carries too much bagage and could seriously disrupt our currently fantastic team spirit. I'd be surprised if we made a move for him. If we could get him and he'd be happy as a back up to Barfa, then take a punt on him as long as he doesn't cost a ridiculous amount. But I think it's safe to say he's not moving to us any time soon with the gameplan of waiting it out on the bench.

Dokko
In the right team he'd be a good player, however I just don't see any space for him here, especially with HBA still to find his spot in the team. Someone like Sunderland would be ideal for him, second striker, lots of starts and would get plenty of goals. However, he'd not join a club with so little standing in the game, not away from the capital.

Guest Rob 1988
Liverpool Prepare to Swoop for £12m Newcastle Defender http://www.sportsvibe.co.uk/news/football/liverpool-prepare-to-swoop-for-12m-newcastle-defender-11845/? Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is set to step up his pursuit of a new defender and is preparing a move for Newcastle United centre back Fabricio Coloccini, according to reports on Caughtoffside.com. Since taking charge back at Liverpool last season Dalglish has already raided Newscatle for striker Andy Carroll and Jose Enrique. The 29-year-old, Argentina international has been one of Newcastle's stand out players so far this season as the side are currently fourth in the table and still unbeaten having only conceded six goals in the opening eight games. It now seems that the Kop boss is going to target the Magpies again when the transfer window opens in January by making an approach for Coloccini who is valued at £12million. As well as losing Carroll and Enrique, Newcaslte lost other big name players during the course of the summer including Joey Barton and Kevin Nolan, and manager Alan Pardew will not want to lose another one of his prized assets. Ritchie
Don't see the point in Liverpool going for central defenders all the time. They're never going to drop Carragher.
