Unless Spurs have got someone fantastical lined up, I can't belive they'd loan us Keane. Who'd pay his wages for a start?

He's better (and different) to what we've got though obviously.

BBC papertalk has something about Spurs getting HUntelaar on loan from AC Milan

Robbie Keane has the head of a 45-year old on the body of a 22-year old.

If he sign I am sure many here say the samething they say now about Nolan.... but he will be a good player specially at home. He can not miss if opportunities come to his way. I wonder though why he leave CL football and come here.....

Holy Shit!  I have been hypnotize by the Ben Afra thread and didn't see  the Keane link.  Keane would be a perfect partner for Carroll.

I think the Keane rumour is total and utter rubbish. For a start we'd need to flog at least two of our existing strikers, and that simply isn't happening.

Must you come into every thread and bring us all down to earth

I reckon we'll find the £6m to buy Keane and he'll sign in a couple of days.

With him and Ben Arfa, I genuinely believe we'll have a fantastic season and may just have enough to break into the top four.

to be honest if we get ben arfa, i don't see where keane would fit in. not disputing the quality he'd bring, but carroll and keane up front and a midfield of routledge, ben arfa, jonas and one out of barton/guthrie/tiote/smith/nolan/gosling is insane. and his wages  :kasper:

how good is boyata, then?

Jeez. you guys are forgetting something here.            MICHAEL ASHLEY.

He will not sanction any more permanent transfers this window and fantasy players like Keane on the wages he earns are just pie in the sky dreams. Same goes for the lkes of Boyata (not needed).

I am sure Ben Arfa will sign and maybe this guy from Hull on loan. Taylor will end up signing a new contract as well and that will be the end of business for this year.
