Sifu
Nah, he's behind Gosling and Abeid too. He'll probably be on the bench. Exactly but it's still worrying times that we might have to bring on Smith at some point......

Ash
Exclusive: Smith's finished in Toon after Pards drops him from injury-hit squad Alan Pardew has signaled the end of Alan Smith's Newcastle career by omitting him from their latest squad tonight despite several midfielders being out. Smith, 31, is a free agent at the end of the season when his £60,000-a-week deal expires. The former Manchester United ace has made two sub appearances this season after returning from injury. But he has not even made boss Pardew's bench for Wednesday's Premier League home game with West Brom. Newcastle are without injured midfielder Danny Guthrie and suspended duo Yohan Cabaye and Dan Gosling. But Smith has still not been selected and looks set to leave next month with a pay-off to get regular football. Rookie Haris Vuckic,19, is poised to make his first League start instead after coming off the bench in Saturday's draw with Swansea. Former club Leeds will be interested in Smith after making enquiries for the ace in the summer. http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Transfer-news-Alan-Smith-finished-at-Newcastle-after-Alan-Pardew-snub-and-may-return-to-Leeds-article845187.html

54
How te hell is that guy on £60,000 a week. Thats got to be the one of the highest we've got in our squad, and he's the worst player in it. Great to see him leave.
