Dave Posted February 27, 2011 Share Posted February 27, 2011 We need a Arsenal/ManUsa v City final in the FA cup for the top 7 to be all european spots, else we are fucked. Nope. If Arsenal win the Carling Cup it goes to 6th (assuming they finish top five which they will). If a top six club win the FA Cup it goes to 7th, runner up gets fuck all. If Liverpool win the Europa League and finish in the top five then 8th can get into Europe. We want Arsenal to win this, Man Utd etc to win the FA Cup and Liverpool win the Europa League and finish in the top five. That gives us the best chance of getting into Europe. Like the fuck that is gonna happen. The best chance is Arsenal win this and ManUSA/Arsenal/City win the FA cup. Well yes, I'm just saying that it doesn't matter who the FA Cup losers are. What happens if Man City win the Europa League? The same I assume? Yeah. Winner gets a place in for the next season, so if they're already qualified it goes to the next in the league.
