No point whinging about it but it does call into question the depth of the squad and why we're still one or two injuries away from seeing the likes of Lovenkrands and Smith being called up to play. We're basically hoping that we manage to keep the majority of the first choice XI fit for the majority of the season because after that there's fuck all quality whatsoever. That's down to the people who decide the transfer policy. We did some excellent business early in the window but we're nearly into August now. Enrique and Routledge look to be heading out of the club, Ben Arfa is out for a month or two, Ryan Taylor's got a knock, we lost Ferguson and Guthrie (?) at Darlington.
