Why people feel the need to add this at the end of these statements is beyond me. Unless you're around Cabaye's level you're not going to be miles ahead of anyone in our squad. He's marginally our best DM and probably on par with Anita and Shelvey slightly further forward, which is by no means anything to shout about. Tiote doesn't need to be highly smart... just highly motivated. Rafa could get 2 or 3 good seasons out of him.. but.. he wants away. Wants that one last big payday so fuck him. So what? He clearly doesn't have the attributes to be at the level of Essien, but there's nowt wrong in having the aspirations to be like a class player like him. What was he meant to say?
