Colocho
With time he'll learn that there simply isn't the time to dwell on the ball in this league.

Revolution Number 9
It's got to be sabotage. Someone's been messing around with his programming before the game.

Disco
He's always going to be poorer in games where we need to dominate and create chances as that is not his game. Hopefully he'll back to his best where we'll need him at the Reebok. Game off might do him some good after a bit of a mare tonight.

Unbelievable
He never recovered from that horrible mistake. Hope his confidence isn't shot now..
Guest BooBoo
His first poor game for us. Hopefully he won't make a habit of it. He was poor v Wigan as well. Very strange as he's been excellent otherwise. He's much more of an asset away from home though where we generally have less possession.
lovejoy
He's been superb bar 2 games. He's bound to have the odd bad game, it's his first season in a new league. Game out on Saturday won't do any harm either. Hughton will freshen it up Saturday I think. Campbell, smith and routledge will all come in IMO. hakka
The early mistake leading to the first goal and the early booking made it hard for him to find his form. Blackburn seemed to focus on sending a second man to catch him out when he was looking to turn his marker and it worked. Caught him out a few times where in previous games he's been able to turn and pass easily.

Hopefully he'll back to his best where we'll need him at the Reebok. Game off might do him some good after a bit of a mare tonight. He shouldn't be. If he does his job correctly, he'll see a lot of time and space on the ball allowing him to help push the attack. These types of games should be the easiest for him, actually. I don't see him as a player who is going to force the issue going forward personally. More of a player who is better at breaking up play and then giving to the superior forward players hence why he shone v Arsenal.

Most of them are at the world's top clubs. It is very nice to see, and helps us to get started again when we win the ball, but his primary objective is to not lose the ball in a dangerous areas. Has to learn when this is acceptable and when he should just clear.

Guest Heneage
I hope that doesn't knock his confidence at all, in some ways I forgive that mistake considering how fantastic he's been since he joined.

wormy
This will be a true test of the man. He's clearly got talent, let's hope this isn't a big blow to him. Saturday off will probably do him good, a nice little break (as long as we don't have to endure Smith). He's new to the club, the league, he's allowed some off days. Or alternatively, anti-virus scan should do the trick.
thenige
Hope that classic fans 'murmur' doesn't follow him on the ball for a bit. One of his greatest assets so far is how comfortable he's been on the ball and turned with such ease. If he loses that with his confidence I'd be worried. Looked absolutely gutted after conceding the goal - was a bad mistake no doubt, but is still a zillion times the player of Alan Smith.
