With forwards like Ba, Best, Ben Arfa the new forward we are apparently trying to sign, players like Obertan and Marveaux who can apparently play off a strikers and the emergance of Vuckic it seems entirely pointless. Still holding hope for Ranger too, then there's Ameobi Jr who is looking surprisingly promising. As a backup strikers he is cheaper than other options and is an occasional match winner which is important. Besides, seeing him in a Stoke shirt did not feel right. He is shit, but he is our shit.
