LoveItIfWeBeatU
http://www.nufc.com/2013-14html/2014-04-19swansea-h.html Shola Ameobi's goal was the 78th of his SJP career and the 42nd in the Premier League - the 41st arriving way back in December 2012 against QPR at the Leazes end. This latest goal moved him up to fourth in the club's all-time Premier League goalscorers list: 1. Alan Shearer 148 2. Peter Beardsley 46 3. Andy Cole 43 4. Shola Ameobi 42 5. Les Ferdinand
Ronaldo
Only took him 14 years to almost do what Cole managed in 18 months. Fair play.
Keefaz
Only took him 14 years to almost do what Cole managed in 18 months. Fair play. He's all about the teamplay.

Ste
That's one of Sholas many problems, he doesn't want the goals enough. He's always been frustratingly passive.
thenige
Only took him 14 years to almost do what Cole managed in 18 months. Fair play. Would dread to think what his stats are if you take away penalties too. If my memory isn't too shot, was it Beardsley taking them in Cole's day? TaylorJ_01
Am I missing something? I have genuinely only counted 20 assists through his whole career Suarez got that in like half a season.

Aiston
When he has a testimonial, will people go? He certainly deserves one more than Harper.

Rich
Anichebe is shaping up nicely with 21 in 147, he was the first that sprung to mind. Not sure there's anyone on Shola's level.

Guest firetotheworks
half of Shola's are as sub, which would make him a 1 in 3.5 if you were a massive liar.
Rich
53% of total career appearances for Anichebe, if Soccerway is right. Very similar records at the top level.

TaylorJ_01
Anichebe will have more assists and generally looks mildly useful. He is basically a younger Ameobi, though.

Clearly not a good record... but how many of those are sub appearances? That must skew the stats a fair bit. EDIT - just seen this has been answered..
