TaylorJ_01
bet the stadium is full of "lol mackum slayer shola iz mint" mongs for his testimonial, too.
KaKa
Pay as you play deal? I don't want him around if he is willing to play for free. Just his presence in and around the team has started to grate. Enough injuries will always somehow occur, to force him back into the reckoning. Or the manager will continue to use him as some bastion of leadership and character, with which to goad Ben Arfa, or any other talented player who dares to have any flair. Kimbo
Incredible to think that 6 years ago he was on the way out and had been loaned to Stoke, if anything he has got even worse, or is atleast just as shit, and here he is. It's also no coincidence that it was Keegan that wanted to fuck him off.

KaKa
Considering how much Allardyce loves anything over 6ft tall, you really have to marvel at the fact that even he couldn't see any use for Shola. That really is damning.
Guest
Incredible to think that 6 years ago he was on the way out and had been loaned to Stoke, if anything he has got even worse, or is atleast just as s***, and here he is. Those two managers would also see a summer transfer window as a great opportunity to replace him, our nugget wants to offer him a new contract now, it's crazy. Smal
Brown nosing Pardew again, basically. Infuriating. Shola Ameobi on Radio Newcastle:‘We have limited resources at the moment, when we lose 1 or 2 key players it hurts the team badly' Shola Ameobi added: "That is what the manager has had to put up with, unfortunately." "That is something the club have to put right for next season." "We need quality players and we need a quality squad as well." "This has all been brought out to a lot of people but we, as players, knew that" "I think the fans are getting to see that now." Shola also admitted dressing room unrest: "There have been a few frictions in there, which you get in every dressing room."

Dan Gleebals
No. Way. If he gets a new contract that will epitomise everything that is wrong with the club currently.
Shush
No. Way. If he gets a new contract that will epitomise everything that is wrong with the club currently. This. Fwiw, I'm still believing this is for coaching and if it is a player/coach role, it would be aimed at him being 4th/5th place striker. If not, then this reality is indeed hell. Unbelievable
Think he's pretty much just talked himself out of a new deal. Which is good As long as Pardew is here the opposite is true.
sempuki
As a bloke he is hard to fault and played when injured on several occasions. Kudos for that. Great penalty taker and former mackem slayer too. Those times are over and it is time to part ways. A semi-crippled glacially slow carthorse is not what we need or not what we needed for the past few years.
Yorkie
Surely no one would be surprised? I wouldn't be surprised if he's leading the line in August, given we'll lose Remy and De Jong, and Papiss is crocked.
Ketsbaia
Think I had a mini heart attack seeing the thread title. Laughter hides the tears, I think many would throw in the towel if this new deal happens.
