Cajun
Never as good as he was Sunday and the other times are few and far between. We have probably seen as many good games from Smith.
Ronaldo
Don't be silly.
binnsy
Suprised so many people have Tiote in their teams when they've never seen him play yet.
Ronaldo
It's more to do with the fact that we have seen Alan Smith play.
Neil
Even if that were true, it's still one more good game than you've seen Gosling play in this League. And that's ignoring the couple of good seasons that everyone's seen Barton play for Man City. To automatically assume that Gosling is currently better than Barton based on what he might do later on in his career is ridiculous mate. Different players. Gosling is a high energy box to box midfielder with a decent shot, whereas Barton looks for space and has a good range of passing. Personally I say the subtlety and invention of Barton’s passing is more important to the team. Are you off your tits? Has Gosling really done enough to justify a place ahead of Barton. Obviously we can only judge him on his time at Everton where he was played out of position on the right. He has a good engine and a decent shot but that's about it at the moment. He wasn't played out of position. He doesn't currently have a position.
EthiGeordie
Krul Williamson Campbell Collocini Jonas Nolan Tiote Barton Enrique Ben Arfa Carroll This is it.....
ElDiablo
The OP. Though I'd drop Nolan back in midfield against weaker teams at home when we could perhaps get away with it. Something like: Harper Perch. Williamson. Colo. Enrique Tiote. Barton Nolan Ben Arfa Jonas Carroll
midds
Surely it would depend on who and where we were playing? Against a mid-table side at home (the average) I'd go: Krul Perch (S. Taylor if he's here) Williamson Colo Enrique Routledge Barton Tiote Gutierrez Ben Arfa Carroll
Ronaldo
The above, minus Krul.
Amir_9
Harper Saylor Williamson Coloccini Enrique Routledge Tiote Barton Jonas Ben Arfa Carroll This could work for us, Nolan to come on 75 minutes in or so, we all know his fitness record so I suppose he could be effective for 15 minutes when he comes on to provide fresh legs. NoU
Harper Taylor Campbell Coloccini Enrique Routledge Barton Tiote Jonas Ben Arfa Carroll My bet at a strongest 11. Purely guesswork since 3/11 haven't really played in this team.
Decky
With today's events, what would everyones first team be in the unlikely event that all players are fit: Krul Perch. Campbell. Coloccini. Enrique Routledge. Tiote. Barton. Jonas Ben Arfa Carroll Would agree with that
Guest BlacknWhiteArmy
Harper S.Taylor Williamson Campbell Enrique Tiote Barton Routledge Ben Arfa Jonas Carroll Subs- Krul, Coloccini, Guthrie, Smith, Gosling, Nolan, Lovenkrands
Colocho
Wait a minute. We haven't even seen Tiote play yet, and he walks into most people's strongest XI's?
relámpago blanco
Wait a minute. We haven't even seen Tiote play yet, and he walks into most people's strongest XI's? Say him at the WC and smiths dogshit.

Guest tobiazvanderziaz
Quite shocked that no one has picked Simpson! Im my opinion he was solid last year both offensively and defensively and I like his attitude. A bit similar to Perch as a fullback but in my eyes better in almost every apsects of the game! Difficult to compare with S. Taylor since Taylor isnt a fullback and never will be...
Pilko
Simpson is probably better than Perch. The first three games of the season + pre-season has made me think Perch is a bit of a limited player.
