If we're hammering players offering nothing to the side at the moment, it's time to invite Wayne Routledge along to the headmasters officer for a caning.

The lads offered bog all, all season so far.

I agree and have been saying it for a while now, he has no end product and I don't know how Jonas gets more stick.

Routledge's been a big let down as he did very well last season but seems to have no confidence in the PL to take his man on. He seems to be hiding a bit at the moment.

On soccernet they have a matchaction tool, shows you things like players average position etc Just checked it out.

Nolan (As a 2nd striker) on average was no further foward than Barton. Tells a lot.

Yes it does. Two slow central midfielders who like to stroll around in a small area of the pitch because they are short of pace and stamina. But most people can see that without the use of diagrams, although these are useful if you want to spin a players contribution in UV lighting perhaps.

Guest neesy111

It's debatable that he's overweight, but he is no doubt not fit physically for the premiership.  He looked shattered after 55 minutes, and was missing totally for 35-40 mins of the 2nd half.

Needs to be dropped for Jonas away from home, and a 2nd striker at home.

Lil Wayne has 1 PL goal to his name & even that was dodgy & was way back in 2004

"Wayne Routledge put Palace back in front when his drive cannoned in off Andreas Jakobsson, but the defender made amends, poking in the equaliser. "

Just Hughton would man the F*** up and bench him.

HE has dumped Smith & Jonas so far this season.

What has that got to do with Nolan not getting dropped?

It shows he can MAN UP and drop players. Is that not obvious?

Not really.

It shows nothing at all about dropping Nolan.

What he said!  Just about everyone can see Nolan could do with a bit of Bench time, Hughton has to be thinking along the same lines.

Just because he dropped Butt doesn't mean he isn't dodging big decisions at the moment imo.

More that Nolan is slow in comparison with Barton, who gets foward quickly enough to offset the fact that his general position is further back. Making his average about the same.

I just think the phrase MAN UP is a bit off.

Home games = Dropped

Away games = Automatic starter

Teams will come and defend like Stoke did today at home, we need Ben Arfa off Carroll allowed to roam and drop into wherever he wants to go to try and unlock a defence. Jonas to come back in on the left, we keep the ball so much better with him in the side, he might not create too much but he's invaluable at home.

Away from home he should come back in as he does drop off quite well and is neat and tidy on the ball, just what we need in away games.
