If you'd told me a year ago that I would be happy Kevin Nolan is signing a new contract, I wouldn't have believed you. Still think we should be starting to plan for life without him in the team in the medium-term, but a great lad and a motivating factor for the group of lads. He's the captain figure we needed. Plus if Barton is true to his word then Nolan's signature on a new deal should see Barton also signing up on a new deal too.
