Pilko
As part of a squad I'm happy to have him; his workrate is invaluable in the tougher away games and fixtures against the top 5 or 6 teams. But there's no way he should be playing 90 minutes every single week, it's absolutely ludicrous that he still is.
The College Dropout
Thought he was playing in defence second half.
TheHoob
He didn't do much wrong yesterday, I just don't think he has much to offer against teams who offer as little going forward as Stoke. I still think he has a role to play against better teams with attacking wingers and fullbacks, but he's more or less a wasted player against these kind of teams. ExiledGeordie
He doesn't do anything badly wrong at the moment but the lack of an attacking threat down whichever side he's on is clear as the day to see. Desperately need more attacking impetus to stretch the field a lot more with someone like HBA.
Lotus
He certainly wasn't a liability, he just wasn't of any particular use in defence nor attack.
Kanji
He doesn't hide - and we all know he's going to be dropped soon or later as soon as Hatem is back. But he made some good plays here and there yesterday.

Tiote's job is to boss the midfield, when he stops doing that he'll be out of the side. Jonas is a wide forward, what should his job be, and does he provide it? mozy
That isn't his role though, never has been. Even when we first signed him, he was always a 4-4-2 winger noted for his workrate and protection of his fullback.
Ronaldo
He's not a winger either, though. He's like the lad who turns up just to make the numbers up, knows it, and runs round like a little dog all game.
Guest neesy111
It's ridiculous he can't even take on a player nowadays, his body is letting him down badly.
Skeletor
Having a player who can't cross, assist or score goals playing as part of a front 3 is pretty ridiculous. Especially for a team that's already lacking creatively any way. Should be a priority to upgrade him in the summer.
AyeDubbleYoo
He nearly scored a very nice goal TBF. I agree he isn't a good fit for the wide forward role any more though.

Skeletor
Someone like Nathan Redmond (if Birmingham's financial troubles persist) would be ideal in addition to flashing the cash on someone like Aubemayang.
The College Dropout
Seriously, was he playing in defence second half? He does hide btw, from the ball.
Kanji
No, he doesn't hide man. He gives us 100% every time - but he's far off the footballer he once was. We all see and recognize that. Great, honest pro but clearly shouldn't be in our first 11 anymore and is getting more minutes than Anita or Marv.

Kanji
He was trying to get involved and was opening himself for passes yesterday. He was also carrying the ball into space and laying off to the more skilled player too.
dcmk
I would be quite happy if this was his last season here. If the club is to have any ambitions for getting into Europe in the next few seasons, we need to stop starting him, he is there for workrate and nothing more. Yeah it's a shame, even when he had a bad game you could rely on him to carry the ball 40-50 yards and win a throw-in or free-kick or something but he can't even do that now. Tiresias
Credit where it's due, I thought he was good today. Kept possession, did better than Anita by a distance, who seems to have no confidence to impose his game atm
