And he hasn't had a really good run of games for a while now. Would be great if he rediscovered his old self, thought he was excellent at linking midfield and attack and would offer a good alternative to Nolan as he carries the ball much better. I think we do need another central midfielder like. We need a good central midfielder for squad depth but you wouldn't spend that much on Ireland for him to sit on the bench.
