Don't just get caught in possession and give them a ball over the top to Walcott or Nasri at full speed. Make it easy and they will capitalize. If we were playing one of the lesser teams, I think there might have been an air of complacency as was the case with the Blackpool, Stoke and Wigan games. We seem to do better when the players know they have to work hard to get anything out of a game. A decent confidence-building performance against Arsenal would be nice and a point would be a bonus but then it will be back to having to get all the points in the next 2 home games. Playing open against them is suicide. They are guaranteed to create a few chances even if your defence and midfield are packed and working at 100% - don't give them any more encouragement. You have to be realistic here. We try to play tight and hold them, and we get destroyed We go with a confident, open gameplan and try and counter them, they may destroy us, but we get the chance to score a goal or so and so have a greater chance of getting something. You have to be realistic here. west brom had a go and won there, as i've said i think their cbs are weak and won't like trying to deal with carroll and shola which could create openings for nolan to take advantage of. I'm not being negative, because Arsenal are beatable, with the right tactics. If we keep things tight in defence and don't let them get behind us, we've got the power from set pieces to beat them. He has been struggling IMO, he might well play on Sunday but I don't think he'll be fully sharp. Hopefully will allow Tiote more of a chance to get close to him.
