I did that intentionally because I made the game a few years back and it was too difficult for the average player and also I wasn't sure how many levels I'd add in the future so decided to keep it quite easy so I wouldn't have to go back and re do all the players per level. Like Sewelly said the difficulty didnt really seem to get harder, maybe the timer could come down each level or something? As I was going up the levels I didnt have any idea when it would end or what I was aiming for so kinda lost interest. Then I couldnt stop it so just closed it with no reward. I'll be honest I think if the difficulty increases each level then 5 levels would be enough, personally. You could group your DB of players by level then randomise players per level. Does it get harder from level 5-15? The toughest one I had was Emmanuel Petit. If it doesnt get harder you could source some more less known players or players with less obvious histories They're currently grouped by level, I know the difficulty is quite easy amongst each level but I did that purposely because I didn't know how many levels I would eventually add so it gave me a bit of leeway. My issue with just having 5 levels is that I don't want people to just play it once and then never play it again. I suppose if I add a leaderboard with some kind of metric (fastest time etc) then it could potentially push you to play again. What do you think?
