Good example being the Edinburgh trams which now cover about half the initial route they were meant to and run through the busiest bus route possibly in the country. England's bid would have been totally manageable and was remotely realistic, as shown by the wonderful Olympic games. The Qatar thing is so obviously corrupt it's ridiculous.
