On the balance of play they probably deserve it. We've done alright though, some nice passages of play and looking dangerous any time Carroll wins the ball in the air in central positions.

Not sure what to expect second half, that equaliser could be a real body blow or could actually help us to come out a bit more.

Guthrie not following the run there..

Tiote trotting through midfield instead of closing down the runner.

Unlucky with the deflection.

Also... they're a bunch of cheating cunts. They might be winning already if they played football instead of throwing themselves on the ground at every opportunity.

Guthrie's had a tidy start as well. His passing has been crisp and he's moved the well from side to side.

:nope:

some early clutching perhaps? We've played well but seem to be lacking a bit of know-how on the ball. Have to come out and go for them 2nd half though...

just got a bit sloppy in our overall play - can't really expect to sit back an entire match against chelsea. shola's been terrible, really poor in possession and fucked up 2 great chances. could've been sitting on a two goal lead if it wasnt for him.

We are playing well, need to cut out the mistakes though and Shola is really not helping either. He needs to be the one to hold it up and let us get out a bit. He keeps falling over and passing to chelsea at every opportunity though.

If we play like we did after our goal, we'll lose.

People talking about luck for Chelsea, what about our goal?

Sol and Taylor have been solid.

Routledge had a good half against the best LB in the World.

Carroll is good as always.

Shola is Shola.

Such a kick in the teeth to concede at such a time.

I thought we were going to go on and put a 2nd past them after we scored, they looked so fragile at the back- and still do from set pieces. We can still get something from this game but it's going to be tough. Would be nice to have a bit of pace upfront.

I'd honestly rather have Leon Best on the pitch than Shola, the man's a walking example of a static and useless footballer.

We've competed well at times, but sitting back has played right into their hands, they're experts at taking advantage of negative tactics.
