Zero
I bet Ashley definitely don't know this decision is that "shocking". The decision is already fucking insane. What's even worse is with such kinda dismissal I cannot see anyone, really, i mean anyone including Mourinho, that can handle the job leftover well. The situation is pretty obvious: 1. Ashley is very willing to sell the club for a high price (that's why Hughton was sacked - he thinks Hughton's style will not enhance the club's value and cannot attract big offers) 2. As a result of pt 1, it is impossible for him to spend money for transfer (unless the situation goes too bad and then some fucking panic buying at 31 Jan again) 3. As a result of pt 1, the new manager's job is very insecure as well as it depends on whether the club will be taken over 4. Fucking shit team morale 5. Close relationship between Barton, Carroll and Hughton makes them very difficult to accept the decision and their form will definitely be affected Relegation is a must, sadly. No one at the club deserves this ending, except those 2 fucking moron arrogant bastards.

IceMag
I'm still bloody furious about this. I'm supposed to be studying for an exam but I just can't stop thinking about that fat fuck Ashley and how he's systematically dismantling this club. Dokko
Just read it's Hughton's Birthday on Saturday. Mikey dumped him so he wouldn't have to get a gift? Possibly, or Chris asked him for the day off and Ashley kindly responded.

Guest Chris P
Imagine this. The whistle goes on Saturday and the players just stand in position and let liverpool score. Then from the kick off they just stand there again. Etc etc. That would show the stupid cunts what we and the players think about the sacking of CH. So that it ends up being 50-0. The stupidity of the move is beyond belief. In fact it probably on of the worst management decision in football of all time. Why MA. Why you fucking knob. wormy
Anyone reckon he just decided he was going to stop being a yes man? With a bit of experience under his belt, a team fully behind him, try and force their hand on the contract, transfer matters? And it completely backfired? Like an ultimatum on FM. They probably saw his comments the other day about having 100% control over the team and thought 'getting too big for his boots, let's get rid'. With a bit of experience under his belt, a team fully behind him, try and force their hand on the contract, transfer matters? And it completely backfired? Like an ultimatum on FM. It seems that way. I wouldn't say he made an ultimatum but little by little became more and more powerful, especially with the players behind him. If its true that he refused Beardsley as his no.2 this would add weight to that argument. If true its a fucking kick in the teeth for all the knobs on here who joked for months about how soft he was. Wouldn't have a problem with them doing this, the FA would probably come down on us like a ton of bricks though.
Crumpy Gunt
So why was he sacked then? I'd guess 9 points from 24 at home went a good way to getting him the tin tac.
