Mistle17
I must say one of my favourite memories of his time in charge was that brilliant comeback against Bristol City at Ashton Gate! At 0-2 it looked like we were out of it but that was some spirit the team showed. The sheer relief and joy after that equaliser was just amazing. Made me really proud to support the black and white shirt!

TheGuv
The chance to pose your questions to the gentleman that is Chris Hughton has arisen. He shall be appearing on Goals on Sunday this week, and SkySports is asking for fans to send in their questions. Ronaldo
Honestly, you've more chance of getting a genuine answer to your questions if you write to Santa Claus via the fireplace.

ChrisJbarnes
"What did you think of Kevin Nolans performance in the Tyne Wear derby today Chris?" "He's not a player I'm aware of" etc.
Guest
Wonder if he applied for jobs such as Ipswich and Palace or whether he reckons he'll get a Premier League job which is a bit of a gamble given the likes of Allardyce, O'Neill, Jol, Hodgson, etc will more than like be applying for similar positions. Guess he'd be the budget offer mind for someone who can't afford those listed.

Dave
Hughton clearly implying that he doesn't believe results had any bearing on his sacking.

Mick
He proves once again that he's a top man and a class above those who sacked him and the person that replaced him.

AyeDubbleYoo
He proves once again that he's a top man and a class above those who sacked him and the person that replaced him. I agree with the first bit, but a bit petty to stick a dig at Pardew in there.

Andy
I love the bloke, but in a way, I'm glad he's gone just so I don't have to hear the word "dignified" as often.

Guest johnson293
He won the Sports Personality of the year at those North East and Cumbria Regional Sports Awards last night. Newcastle Utd won team of the year. Nice, considering the awards were held in Sunderland!
