He knew about another colleague being shown the axe before said colleague knew...and he was waiting in the wings. There is ambition, and then there is right prickery, of which his actions fall into the latter. Not to get on my high horse, but where's the moral compass? Where's the respect for your fellow colleagues? I hope every other manager treats this prick like a leper's testicles now. There is no excuse for this pile of dogshit's behavior, in my book. He may well be a c*** but there's no way he'll deserve the hostility he's about to encounter, he'll just be the easy and visible target when attacking Ashley. Nobody knows how much he knew about this sacking and how he acted around it but he'll get 100% of the stick without a doubt. He's a cunt of a man, a terrible footballer manager and a friend of the great Cockney fuckers. If he was any sort of a decent person, he wouldn't have been involved in taking Hughton's job before he was even out of it. He deserves everything he gets. Almost every manager who's ever been involved in the game has been involved in taking someone's job before they were out of it, let's not get too carried away on that as if it's some sort of unique trait. I don't rate him as a manager but bear in mind were it not for an astonishing Gerrard goal he'd have won the FA cup for West Ham and probably have had a far more successful career after that. I'm only playing devils advocate here but I genuinely can't understand actively wanting a manager to fail before he's started tbh. There's a huge difference between hating what the guy stands for and expecting him to fail and WANTING him to fail. I don't want him to fail at all. It's not a vendetta, I'm angry about what has become of this football club and I want to vent that anger. I'm not going to suddenly forget what a cunt and shit manager Pardew is just because he's our manager - I'm not blinded by things just because they become a part of our club. I love NUFC and always will, but I can't see how we're going to stay up based on where we're headed. Doesn't mean I'll stop supporting, but it doesn't mean I'll shut my mouth and sit their quietly. Considering the circumstances, even if Pardew went on to get us a European place, I would still be angry. It is anathema to the spirit of the game, in my opinion. That innocent act of kicking a ball around. This is sinister. It is a group of despicable men with no regard for the history and identity of a club. It is a group of despicable men who treat the fans as one dot on a metric. What is each fan worth? What about the sense of belonging? The passion? How a win brightens the weekend, and how a loss can ruin it? How 90 minutes can make us forget how much we hate our jobs (or how much of an unhinged nut my girlfriend is)? I worked in both the corporate world and as a high school teacher for a charter school. I saw enough nepotism, cronyism, corruption and backstabbing behavior in that world. the last thing I need is to see it in my form of escape from that world.
