I really do wonder if we didnt have Ben Arfa and the only choices were Obertan and Taylor, what everyone would think of Pards.

I get the feeling that alot of criticism is aimed at Pards because he doesnt play Ben Arfa, i want to see Ben Arfa play week in week out heck he should have a team built around him IMO.

But i dont think the fantastic job he has done should be underestimated, we are 1 point of a CL place approaching March.

Cast your minds back when Pards took over where we were and where we are now and you will find the job he has done is just brilliant.....

If we were to qualify for europe this year, i think he should get manager of the year and damn he would deserve it.

had no doubt with or without Ben Arfa we would have won this game, but the football is just awful. You might not agree but its a fact, such a difficult dilemma being a Newcastle Fan and a football fan at the same time.

Iv'e defended Pardew alot but today i am seeing alot of the things that people have been criticising him for. Yes we're winning (most important thing at the end of the day) and very comfortably so lets get the ball down and play a bit rather than giving it to Williamson to punt down field.

Can't believe he cant put out a 442 at home against a relegation team with a novice manager in charge and keep a 2-0 lead.

Disgusting 2nd half, terrible 1st half, these shite performances are catching up with us. Quite happy to see the back of him, has learned nothing as a manager, talks a good story, that's about it.

we'll still be 6th at the end of the game so he's automatically exempt from any criticism don't forget
