Zero
We are playing Perch, Willi and Simpson out there ffs.

Dave
Thought he set us up brilliantly to start with. Lost his balls second half and reverted to two big men up front and aimless hoofball, very disappointing. Aye. In the first half Arsenal still looked easily the better side but we carried a threat on the ball. In the second half there was nothing.
stozo
Tactically got it right tonight I thought. It was the players performances to blame. 4-4-1-1 worked fairly well first half. Not so well first 15 mins of second so had the guts to go 4-4-2. Not his fault that the players couldn't keep the ball for any sustained period. Guest BooBoo
First half great, couldn't really fault the subs but not sure what was said at half time as we were very timid. HBA became invisible after a promising start, simply never got the ball.
Dinho lad
Is there any chance we could play well in both halves please, Alan? Fuck off.

Jayson
More likely the players just reacted to Shola coming on by hoofing it long more. The sub in itself was perfectly fine, Obertan did nowt & shola earned it last week.

He is constantly urging them to hoof it man, hes hoping for a lucky knock down. Didnt he bring Cabaye in on the strength we were going to play it on the ground. We have been hoofball for weeks...shocking.
JH
We were still a stupid mistake away from a point. Decent performance overall. Satisfied for 94 minutes.
IceMag
I just can't understand this man at all. Our tactics in the 2nd half were shocking and that's down to noone but him.
M4
We're just relying on luck to not lose this sort of game. Still losing by the odd goal against a flying Arsenal team isn't that bad. Big test coming up on Sunday. Need to win and play convincingly.

Wullie
Ba must be absolutely fucking sick of trying to flick balls covered in snow straight to the opposition goalkeeper.
Guest BooBoo
Pressure all of a sudden is on for the Norwich. Worse as we're playing on Sunday when a lot of our rivals may have already picked up points over the weekend. We desperately need a win because we'll no doubt get our usual fuck all at West Brom. toontownman
Don't think Pardew got it terribly wrong here today, protected Cisse a little which will serve as motivation. Obertan didn't really come off which was a disappointment. I think he will be off in the summer. Perch played very well imo. Good sub there. Shola did ok too. Guthrie is unlucky not to be starting, would have done far better than Cabaye today imo. Rather see us change to 4-3-3 that watch this long ball shit again. Guthrie/Cabaye Tiote Gutierrez Ben-Arfa Ba Cisse
Numbers
So people that are happy with that, are you happy with the hoofball..it fucking amounts to nowt. At times Ba was just headering it back to their keeper/defender. Its clueless shite, hoping we get a lucky break.

Darth Crooks
Hoofing not working with Ba. Switch Obertan and keep naff hoof tactic to Shola. Worked marginally better but is never going to win you games convincingly. Can't see how the santon sub helped matters greatly, though something is not clicking for Cabaye

If people think we are going to be better than the likes of Liverpool etc playing like that over the next few seasons really need to check their heads. Jordan
First half tactics were good, can't see why that couldn't continue. The hoofball doesn't work for us and our players are too good for it. So frustrating.
Guest Dontooner
HOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFF!! Stop working on the defensive game, they dont win you such games.
Guest Craig-NUFC
Ba must be absolutely f***ing sick of trying to flick balls covered in snow straight to the opposition goalkeeper. After about 50 minutes you could tell that he was getting fed up by his body language and starting to trapse around. Find it frustrating more than anything that we have a core group of players who are technically gifted and would fit in perfectly well with a flowing passing game, yet since the turn of the year there has been little effort made to play the ball along the ground and let players have a little bit of freedom. Instead we're stuck with players holding a rigid position whilst we repeatedly play 'broken record' football of hoof to Ba, flick, no one there, close down, get ball, give to Krul, hoof to Ba, repeat for most the game. At times Ba was just headering it back to their keeper/defender. Its clueless shite, hoping we get a lucky break. Second half v Sundeland and first half today we actually played decent football. We did go long when Shola came in but it wasn't helped by our defence being so deep for the majority of the second half and our midfield having no sort of grip on the game with the anonymous Cabaye leaving Tiote with far too much work.
