TK-421 Posted May 3, 2015 Share Posted May 3, 2015 Personally don't think Mcclaren has the kind of big personality to make an instant impact on our team. The whole squad looks like they couldn't give a f*** and they need a huge lift. Tim sherwood might be a nutter, but he has a s*** villa team playing with belief and spirit and that is what we need badly. Even KK took about 9 games to get his first win last time he came back, though he did get a few draws. Think if they do bring McClaren in now, its on the basis that he was a Championship manager anyway, so if we go down he's lost nowt - if we stay up, it'll be dressed up as partly down to him. If they are trying to bring McClaren or anyone else in, I hope they jettison Carver altogether and not just demote him, along with Stone and Woodman in the process. That they can never remember a manager previously making such a 'slanderous' claim against one of his own players, how the dressing rooms obviously lost, how Carver "being a fan" is all he goes on about and its not good enough. The financial ramifications for Ashley of turfing Carver et al out and replacing them pales in comparison to the ££££££ lost if we go down.
