Andy84
This club is epitome of misery like. Literally nothing to look forward to ever, PL or championship what does it even matter. Just when will all of this s*** end. They absolutely deserve relegation

r0cafella
The level of stupidity is really quite epic. Imagine having this meeting to decide his future and having this mountain of evidence which states sack him and going against it. These are our leaders ya'll

biggs
It's just unbelievable bad business, 100 million on the line and they do nothing to stop it "Newcastle are two points above the relegation zone following their latest embarrassing defeat, but Carver will not quit and has received sympathy from board members over the performances and attitude of his some of his players". Tiresias
The thing is, they can sympathise all they want even if they think it's true it's the players being shit and they're not listening to Carver, a new manager quick may at least rouse them a little bit even if you exonerate Carver from having anything to do with their Torpor. Carver's line seems to now be that the players are not good enough to stay up even though it's the same players who have comfortably in the past. It's ridiculous. Even if it's nothing to do with Carver, sacking him at this point is much less of a gamble than keeping him on.

TaylorJ_01
Why is Charnley having meetings with Carver? It's like Ian Brady having a meeting with Myra Hindley about "why not to kill people a lot".

Even if it's nothing to do with Carver, sacking him at this point is much less of a gamble than keeping him on. Sacking him now isn't a gamble at all. Keeping him on guarantees us a 35 point finish which won't be enough to keep us up. Getting rid gives us the possibility if 2/3 more points because the players might get out of their huffs and hopefully we'd get the new manager bounce. huss9
removing him would have relieved some of the tension around the players. whats it going to be like now when carver turns up to take training?
