Just did a hard-hat stadium construction tour of the new Orlando City ground being built Downtown, was really cool to see. Think it's going to be a class looking stadium when complete.

In all fairness, Pirlo is 37 and Giovinco was always a fringe player. Still seems really stupid ignoring Giovinco's form over the last two years even if it's MLS, have fun crashing out this summer with that squad.

Robbie Keane was taking the piss in MLS while at the same time being totally ineffective for Ireland against any even half decent opposition tbf

Haisley absolutely loathes MLS, unsurprising to see an article like that from him.

Pirlo's mailed it in as a serious player anyway. He plays at 60% most games, which is usually good enough for him to still be a useful player in MLS.

Still not sure how Conte can justify leaving Giovinco at home, given A) the state of Italy's forwards and B) his form, regardless of the league. I guess Insigne has that "tiny, frustrating little attacker" role locked down already and Conte wanted bigger bodies.

Not really comparable, Keane has the best midfield in the league behind him consistently. Giovinco had been involved in every Toronto goal this season up until last weekend, he's by far the best player the league has seen on form. Not saying just because a fringe player hits incredible form in a lower league he should be in the squad no matter what, but with his pace and confidence at the moment he'd be really useful for Italy off the bench when they need a spark.

The way this recap reads is hilarious who's who of has-beens:

The Galaxy started the shootout strong thanks to Steven Gerrard's effort, but would proceed to see Giovani dos Santos sky his shot and Ashley Cole have his strike saved by Howard

The Gashi goal was quite a shot, worth looking up.
