I remember him doing brilliantly for us as defensive central midfielder at Stamford Bridge. I suppose thoug, being our left back was one of the reasons he got frustrated here. Dinho lad Posted June 2, 2011 Share Posted June 2, 2011 I reckon £7m for Enrique, £8m for N'Zogbia.....even though Enrique is better. How is he better? Enrique's a better left back then Zog is a winger. Its pretty hard to compare them directly obviously as they have very different jobs. I just think that Enrique is among the top few players in his position in the league, while IMO Zog isn't. I rate Cole, Evra, Clichy, Baines and Kolorov as all being better than Enrique. How many right wingers are better than N'Zogbia because I think he could get in at Spurs, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea in that position. I've always been a fan of Enrique's but the one thing that will put the top clubs off him is his lack of ability going forward, which is what they look for in their fullbacks since they spend most of their time on the front foot. Especially whilst we are apparently slapping daft 5 million bids down, i can see them putting any fee the may get for Henderson/Cattermole straight into a bid for him. They've also been rather quiet. If everyone on here had been asked before last season who they'd rather have out of Tiote and most PL defensive midfielders, I think most would have said the ones proven in the PL... N'Zogbia may be the better player but just because he's proven in the PL doesn't mean he's automatically better. Although he may be the safer option, true.
