Had all three of the last 3 shirts posted. Has to be the Newcastle Broon shirt. Beatiful. Was only 10, so my name and number, with PL badges, made it a fucking belter :aww:

The gold one looks ugly as sin there, but loved it at the time. It's since been thrown away though, as I tainted it with Owen on the back :(

Probably my favourite.

That shirt is OK, I guess.    :shifty:

Are United brining out a new strip every year now ?

Is this just Ashley being his usual greedy self.

Still think the black patch lets it down massively. Our best looking shirts in recent years have been:

and

because of the stand-out Northern Rock writing. It's simple stuff which would make the design on page one so much better.

The one with the gold sponsor is the last one I bought. Not going to be buying this one if it looks like that either. Lost my grandad collar shirt ages ago so on the lookout for a mint one of these on ebay.

Too much fannying on with that gold-strip. Too much white and too much gold. Any gold is too much, though.

I like it. Normal stripes is the way to go though, just looking at Bilbao's strip right now, black and white stripes instead of their red and white and that would be a class one. Simple but classy.

I have that shirt, signed by SBR.  Never worn it.  Never will.  Need to get it properly framed.

Looking at the new one again I like it, so long as the sponser patch isn't like this seasons I think I'd get one.

Any update on this? Are we really getting a new design next season and if so which one will it be? I wanna get a HBA top but not sure if I should wait till the new design is confirmed?

No official news has yet broken, but as well as two new change kits, the second and final season of United's current Puma kit deal will also see a new home strip.

That means that NUFC will wear a different black and white shirt design in four successive seasons; two each provided by Adidas and by Puma. And in all probability, that will become five in five, for season 2012/13

Various claims of the new designs and colours are doing the rounds online, but as in previous seasons, we won't post anything until we're 100% certain that it's the final design and/or colours that will be worn and sold.

Like a few others, we held the view that a Premier League code of practice existed, suggested that clubs worked on a two season cycle for home kits and away ones changed each season.

However the Football Supporters Federation confirm that this has fallen by the wayside, although the FA do still work on that basis with the England national side kits.

The only guideline that appears still to be adhered to is that which states that the swing ticket attached to the garments when sold denotes the season(s) during which that will be the official design worn.

PS: Northern Rock continue as shirt sponsors, that deal running through until the end of the 2013/14 season.

I would imagine the last game of the season would have the team wearing it ?

Traditionally it is usually worn during the last home game of the season. That being said, it also depends on when the club decide to announce the new kit. For example, last season didn't see the kit launch until a month or so before this season.
