Gonna be some seriously retarded posts over the next few hours.

Rubbish tonight, but his legacy won't be defined by this or any other single game.

Certainly didn't help himself this evening though.

Never seen him so sluggish around the opposition's box.

Walking pace with a lot of lazy passes at times.  Looks knackered tbh.

 Think good old-fashioned fatigue has finally caught up with him this season. He is nearly never rested (including rarely being subbed off) and that has to catch up at some point.

Guest Roy the Irish Magpie

the records he's smashed speak for themselves. Haters gonna hate but this boy is still one of the top 3 footballers you can ever see.

Poor game, but anybody who uses tonight's game as proof that he's not one of the best of all time is mistaken. By the end of his career memories of games like tonight's will end up where the memories of Pelé, Cruyff, Maradona, Platini, Puskas and Zidane's poor games ended up: in oblivion. People will remember the trophies, awards and great performances, like they've done with all the other legends.
