Segun Oluwaniyi
Carlton Cole keeps him out of the team because he's the better player at the moment. Even as someone who was never overly enamoured with Carrol, that is quite sad.

Ketsbaia
With every day that passes, £35m looks like the biggest mugging in the history of football.
Mole_Toonfan
The more it goes on the more i definitely think Carroll was simply going through a purple patch. 35M
KaKa
We'd do much better to have the following ahead of Shola: Carlton Cole Kenwyne Jones Jason Roberts Leon Best (Losing this guy and kepping Shola ) Ricardo Fuller Now isn't that just humiliating? Guest icemanblue
He was an absolute beast. Simply could not be defended against in the air.

Mole_Toonfan
He was an absolute beast. Simply could not be defended against in the air. Still can't tbf but the rest of his game has simply obliterated into tiny little pieces so he's not taking advantage have said aerial power anymore. I watched him against Arsenal earlier in season and dominated aerially but couldn't do anything with it unfortunately.
Dokko
He played their last game off the bench. Definitely damaged goods now though. Hasn't he just come back from injury?
ponsaelius
Yes. There hasn't been a time since he left that he wasn't injured/returning from injury/unfit/not match fit.
Segun Oluwaniyi
I still don't understand why Rodgers wanted nothing to do with him at all when he got there. He was poor last season, obviously, but it was essentially an open auction for his signature.
Dokko
He's a complete wreck atm like. Can't see wham coming up with the fee agreed for him in this condition, even if he went on a little run before the end of the season its a lot of money (think the fee was £18m wasn't it?) to blow on one player with his record of goals and injuries. Still think he'll end up back here mind, he'd be a very lucky boy should he though.
Wallace
I think that is the same agreement they had in place last Summer but a lot of what Sullivan says is rubbish anyway. I thought West Ham might cool their interest because he has had two injuries since he has been there that have kept him out of the side for several weeks. He came off the bench in their last game which was his first game back so I wonder if he will stay fit for the rest of the season. I would have thought he has not done enough to justify the fee Liverpool want and his wages. Also West Ham don't seem in any hurry to renew Allardyce's contract so he may not be there next season and the next manager might not want Carroll.
