Sifu
I've now come to terms with it all - that is, Cabaye's departure is now inevitable Why does this have to happen? Arsenal won't pay 20m or even 15m so don't give up hope just yet. If Cabaye had played on the Saturday then I would have felt more at ease about the whole thing. Interpolic
Is Cabaye really going to be much use to us next season if his head and heart aren't into it? The best way to deal with this pig's ear of a situation would be to get a deal agreed ASAP, even if we think we're losing out on £5m or so by not leaving it until the last minute. Get the midfielder / winger / striker in that we'd then need, then finalise the Cabaye transfer. Suspect we'll end the window weaker than we started it though. Gallowgate Toon
If Cabaye doesn't get his move by the end of the window, he'll be as good as gold. He won't risk his World Cup place.

TRC
He's not even used well in our squad so does it really matter if he goes? It's like we bought the a ps3 and didn't have an HD tv.

sempuki
The Times: Arsenal are expected to lodge a fresh £13.5million offer for Yohan Cabaye in the next 24 hours. #afc #nufc Pay up or fuck off!
jdckelly
did Wenger spend the last week counting the individual pennies for the extra 3.5m?

There would need to be something more in it, you would have thought.

henke
After Cabayes first season with us we could had probably asked for £20mil. Last season his form had dipped and £12mil is in my opinion more realistic. If we keep him til January or even next summer, he'll be worse than last season and we'll be lucky to get £10mil. But he's going this week, we'll see what Ashley can screw out of them. Not that it matters of course, it's not like it'll be reinvested.
