I agree it wasn't easy given the speculation and pressure they were facing but if we look at the likes of Emre and Meirelles are way past their best imo. Wallace Posted August 24, 2013 Share Posted August 24, 2013 I think the way this club has conducted business in the past under Ashley, I'm more than willing to give Cabaye the benefit of the doubt and say he was asked not to play incase he picked up an injury and it scuppered a lucrative move. I won't judge the player either until we know (if ever) the true facts. He has always been praised as a model professional up until now. Unless you know the full story its more gullable to blindly assume its all the club and not anything else. Its more likely theres a combination of both.
