Could well be a goer with the Dubravka rumours coming out. Could see Dubs playing Tuesday and then heading out with Trafford available for the weekend. Would be surprising to see Howe play someone new from the start though.

Bromley at the weekend, will probably be time for Abe's Odyssey to play.

Quite like the idea of Trafford coming in. Think he’s a solid GK with a big future, lots of potential there.

Think his game would be elevated with a solid backline in front of him. Was hung out to dry at times by Kompany’s tactics in the PL.

Hate the source, mind.

Aye. I think him and Pope are a solid two and maybe keep Vlachadimos if we can. Get shot of Dubravka whilst we can and Ruddy and Gillespie (unless they're utilised for other reasons behind the scenes).

It’ll be interesting to see if the club start to entertain any potential offers for Pope, especially with his contract up next summer? Easy enough to extend but I think he’s one you could get a half decent fee for in the summer.

Ruddy and Gillespie seem like they’re both just the lads who get balls pelted at them in training although I’m not sure why we need two.

That's the thing. I'd expect us to strip the numbers back there and it may be that Trafford comes in to become number one with Pope being sold in the summer and Vlach our second keeper. Or my alternative above of Trafford and Pope as the front two...

Trafford is surely cup-tied for the League Cup SF - which is my only worry re the Dubravka sale.  We’ve had GK issues for the last stages of the League Cup before, haven’t we ..

Signing Karius for the final!

I don’t think he is. Burnley lost to Wolves in round 2 and Hladky played so as far as I can tell Trafford’s had no involvement in the EFL cup yet this season.

Burnley are flying, why do they let their keeper leave mid season. Also, he could be getting promoted anyway

To join a champions league side...(from his point of view).

To better utilise the money for their squad from their point of view though, I'd hazard a guess.

Wouldn't he need to be signed in time for the first leg of the EFL cup semi to feature in the second leg? I'm sure there's a rule like that unless it was an old FA Cup rule about replays.

They seem to rate him highly so all for it. Nice to have a young up and coming goalkeeper at the club, and having come through at Man City, he should have been developed with some ball playing and distribution.

Listed at around 6 foot 6. Great height if that's accurate. Like taller goal keepers.

Also good to see Mitchell back the move and be in agreement.

Assuming this is all concrete of course!

If he hasn't played for Burnley in the Carabou he can play. For registration purposes its just like a league game timewise.

If he's anything like what he was in the U21 Euros he'll be incredible. A pen specialist as well apparently.

Non-shootout penalties he has saved 2 from 11

In comparison Dubravka 6 from 40, Pope 3 from 30

Not to keen on Trafford, he’s so weak coming for crosses. He does have a lot of strengths mind, very good with his feet. Would have to back Howe to improve him the way he has Hall, Gordon etc.

Would Pickford come to us ? Seems to have all the attributes Howe wants in a keeper.

Only if he wants his house to be firebombed every week.
