Also, he could be getting promoted anyway To join a champions league side...(from his point of view). To better utilise the money for their squad from their point of view though, I'd hazard a guess. Stifler Posted Saturday at 23:51 Share Posted Saturday at 23:51 In all fairness, Burnley’s back up keeper has been held in higher regard than Trafford has.
Emotic Posted Sunday at 00:12 Share Posted Sunday at 00:12 How’s his distribution?
Pilko Posted Sunday at 00:18 Share Posted Sunday at 00:18 Wouldn't he need to be signed in time for the first leg of the EFL cup semi to feature in the second leg? I'm sure there's a rule like that unless it was an old FA Cup rule about replays.
KaKa Posted Sunday at 00:25 Share Posted Sunday at 00:25 They seem to rate him highly so all for it. Nice to have a young up and coming goalkeeper at the club, and having come through at Man City, he should have been developed with some ball playing and distribution. Listed at around 6 foot 6. Great height if that's accurate. Like taller goal keepers. Also good to see Mitchell back the move and be in agreement. Assuming this is all concrete of course! Kid Icarus Posted Sunday at 01:17 Share Posted Sunday at 01:17 (edited) If he's anything like what he was in the U21 Euros he'll be incredible. A pen specialist as well apparently. Edited Sunday at 01:39 by Kid Icarus

For registration purposes its just like a league game timewise.

SUPERTOON Posted Sunday at 08:11 Share Posted Sunday at 08:11 Not to keen on Trafford, he’s so weak coming for crosses. He does have a lot of strengths mind, very good with his feet. Would have to back Howe to improve him the way he has Hall, Gordon etc.
Ben Posted Sunday at 08:24 Share Posted Sunday at 08:24 Would Pickford come to us ? Seems to have all the attributes Howe wants in a keeper.
mattypnufc Posted Sunday at 08:24 Share Posted Sunday at 08:24 Don’t think we’d be spending 25m on him.

Dokko Posted Sunday at 08:53 Share Posted Sunday at 08:53 Seems we're desperate to have England's back 5 for the next decade. All for it, personally.

And he’s had the benefit of playing regularly for a few years now so will only get better you’d think
ramirez Posted Sunday at 09:09 Share Posted Sunday at 09:09 It’s weird Pickford has never been strongly linked with say Man U or spurs. Maybe a relegation would force his hand but seems happy enough to plod along at Everton, then look good every two years in an international tournament. I’d take him for the fume alone. 54 Posted Sunday at 09:12 Share Posted Sunday at 09:12 Traffords stats in the Championship are incredible this season; Games played: 25 Goals Conceded: 9 Goals conceded per 90: 0.4 Clean Sheets: 16 Save Percentage: 85% Goals prevented: 6.
Andy84 Posted Sunday at 09:15 Share Posted Sunday at 09:15 (edited) GK is a position we really need to get a grip of like, appreciate Vlach was a PSR workaround but the recent signings seem all over the place. Need to settle on our long term keeper and move a few out Edited Sunday at 09:15 by Andy84

He was strongly linked with Spurs for about 3 years. According to Pickfords mates in Washington, a deal was even verbally agreed.
David Edgar Posted Sunday at 09:30 Share Posted Sunday at 09:30 I don't like how Pickford is perpetually agitated. Would rather we maintained our calm, composed back 5.

Plays like he’s 5ft 10” whenever I’ve seen him. Stuck record. But to get a keeper as good as Pope who can ping it about like Dubravka, or better, even. Will cost a lot of money. I suppose a balance could be had. A keeper who isn’t as good at certain aspects. But is so much more confident on the ball means we concede less chances, have more control of the game, another player to help bypass a press etc etc. Basically, what Dubravka has done since coming back in (along with other changes that have helped). Not really had a decent chance to save since being back. But we’ve barely given up any chances along with some shit finishing by the opposition who’ve missed the target. Fair argument to say Dubravka has been a part of us giving up less chances. Along with game state and opposition played, Tonali at 6 etc.

Rich Posted Sunday at 09:59 Share Posted Sunday at 09:59 Trafford’s not 6’6”, more like 6’2”. Classic goalie height padding.
