David28
Hmm, wonder what that comment meant. What did he say? Said he wasn't happy with some things lately........... Being on the bench today. Being at LW some time ago. Not too much bother imo.
Tiresias
Yep he was talking about our start ffs
LV
Reckon he meant the start we've made. Nah. He meant it from a personal viewpoint imho. "I'VE not been happy about some things lately". hmmmmmm The American film?

Revolution
He looked like he did back in December, very hungry and fit. Hopefully him being dropped has been the kickstart.
Dinho lad
Probably the fact that Pardew said he needs to get his arse into gear, even though he's been one of out better players this season so far.
Guest bimpy474
How was his body language? Kevin the teenager tbh.

ATB
Played beautiful today. Great touch and best of all, took the right decisions. May it long continue.
Dave
Newcastle striker Demba Ba: "It was good getting a draw because it was difficult. [Asked if he was determined to prove the manager wrong after being left on the bench] I was determined because lately I was not so happy with some of the things going on. But after the bad comes the good."
taxfree
Hopefully he's been keeping it mostly to himself. He's a part of a team, and needs to realize it. Has definitely earned himself now though.
Yorkie
Newcastle striker Demba Ba: "It was good getting a draw because it was difficult. [Asked if he was determined to prove the manager wrong after being left on the bench] I was determined because lately I was not so happy with some of the things going on. Whatever pissed him off galvanised him into his best performance for about nine months.
Jack Flash
His goals are papering over a few cracks again. Long may it continue.

Willow
He was unplayable tonight, he just never gave up and battled all the way. One of his best performances for us I reckon and it was only 45 minutes too.

Jack Flash
What a needlessly cynical comment. How is it cynical? His goals tonight and the one out of the blue at Tottenham got us points we probably didn't deserve. Same as the first 6 months of last season. I wouldn't have had too many complaints had we come away with nowt, but there was a lot to be pleased about in that second half and it wasn't a total smash and grab. It's just annoying to see people saying stuff like 'papering over the cracks', when that 45 minutes was clearly the best part of our season so far. I won't deny that there was help from the referees but every teams get a break now and again. There's every reason to think we can kick on from here after a pretty ropey start (i say ropey; 5 points is probably par for the course).
Cajun
You were saying Ba's goals last season and this season is papering over cracks, isn't your forwards scoring and getting you points a big part of football?
