Guest tollemache
What absolute horseshit about his tweet. It's clear what he means - having the ball dinked perfectly onto his big toe by Juan Mata will be another world from trying to get on the end of Jonas' crosses and it's absolutely understandable he's delighted about joining a better team. There's nothing disrespectful about pointing out that Chelsea are chock full of world class players while Newcastle have only a couple of them. Grow the f*ck up. Rebellious
“At Chelsea you have world-class players who understand football perfectly. I saw that every time I played against them but to play in the same team as them is something different. “You just have to make the runs and the ball comes to your feet. They create good spaces and make the right passes. They are intelligent in their game so they make it easier for me. “I just try to run in behind and create space for them as well. I know that when they have some space they will be very dangerous. Not sure if anyone has posted this. Says a lot about our team once we lost Cabaye and Ben arfa to injury as much as it does Chelsea. Not many of our team have footballing brains or the ability to make passes like those two. Many would have you believe its all Pardews tactics though. I think we brought Anita in for this reason another player who can spot a pass but he has took a bit longer to adjust than we all thought.

worthy
he'll score a cuntload of goals for these wankers Aye, It will be fucking painful to watch, but I dont blame him at all to be honest. We wouldn't pay his going rate and Chelsea did. And for the "world class" comment - its true though, he has much better players now to dink him perfect passes, compared to the hoof-it-to-Ba-and-pray tactic we had him play with. Cajun
He is much better than Torres, if he doesn't start they really are shooting themselves in the foot. I hope he never plays against us though.
mrmojorisin75
thinking back, for us, how often in a match did we play passes for him to run onto rather than an aimless hoof for him to fight for? he might turn out to be an absolute bargain for them, the drogba replacement until they sign falcao

This is the sensible view TBH, we all know Ba has no affection for Chelsea either.

Jack Flash
Seeing him today made me think just what we might have had if we'd had an attacking minded manager. The fat that people were saying we have to sell Ba to (possibly) make our team look half decent says so much. Widespread Pardaganda.
KDT
The love in of his performance tonight is a bit much, yes he had chances but he's playing with better players who are delivering better crosses etc. He played at a point in the game tonight where they were pushing for an equaliser. He's a good player yes but he's always going to be second choice as I can't see him getting the majority of games over Torres who apart from tonight has been in decent form recently. Those 2 headers tonight you could actually put down as chances he should be putting away.
ponsaelius
He's the perfect fit for their team. They had lots of creative attacking midfielders and no proper mobile, single-minded centre forward to make real use until now. Cisse would be great for them too. We had imbalanced attacking options (whole squad, in fact) in terms of two #9s that can't play together and a real shortage decent attacking midfielders/wide players. Either square pegs trying to fit into round holes or a shapeshifting peg with an aversion to being round. We could still easily come out of this a more balanced team, but certainly not if we pussyfoot around signing a replacement while important games come thick and fast. The fat that people were saying we have to sell Ba to (possibly) make our team look half decent says so much. Widespread Pardaganda. Not really, all that was said considering the clause the way it was and Pardew's inability to get Ba and Cisse to work that it was only going to end one way and considering that we scouted Cisse extensively and spent actual money on him it was obvious what the club would do. Anyway that horse has been beaten enough, i think most people wanted him to stay and have him rotate with Cisse and buy someone to play wide but whats done is done.
