That's terrible. Wonder where on earth ESPN got that nonsense from.

Probably Ray Stubbs s*** stirring again.

Used to be a fan of Stubbs when he was on BBC and did random shite. Turns out he's a pathetic wanker when it comes to football. Loves to talk up nothing incidents like shot journalists do

It wasn't Stubbs (still a t***), it was Jon Champion that mentioned it.

Let's roll with it as Stubbs is that much of a c*nt

Anyway hopefully his little kid is ok, that's the most important thing before any football related matters.

Glimpses of real quality but my god this lad should never be allowed to take corners ever again.

One or two whipped in very nicely but yeah there were some shockers. Bigi must be ace at freekicks in training as well because he could barely get the ball of the ground tonight bless him.

Remember the days of Robert and Solano whipping in corners?

:okay:

Tbf Robert had loads of poor corners, absolutely loads but when it worked it really, really worked.

Always tried to impart a lot of topspin on them. Christ, what I've give for that man right now.

Was the new great hope any good?

No. Few nice touches here and there, woeful corners and nothing to really suggest he's going to be a major star.

Ridiculously unfair. He was good tonight and his corners are no worse than Cabaye's tbf

Guy's got great technique and touch, really has. Didn't seem to have the attitude to dictate the game tonight. Something, with his talent, he clearly could have.

Maybe it's because he's been out a long time. Or maybe he's not the 'grab the game by the scruff of the neck' kind of bloke. Time will tell i guess.
