buzza
I wouldn't call them an accident waiting to hsappen but they are too easily bossed against big "up an at em'" strikers. if elmander plays I would stick with williamson, adds a bit of "muscle" to the centre back pairing. He also shouldn't be dropped on current form, we always moan about managers playing their (or our) favourites, clear cut case of Willo and mapo playing well as a central pairing (not based upond individual skills). Andymc1
Mbiwa doesn't look like a full back to me. I'd agree with Dave, and shift Santon across and bring in Dummett. We've just had two successive shut-outs against Chelsea and Spurs, so I can't see the case for major changes. It's not as though Colo has been pulling up trees this season. Dummett is useless. League 1/SPL footballer.
Ronaldo
Steady on. As per usual the praise on here for Dummett was incredibly OTT but that's incredibly harsh.
The College Dropout
It's Colo or Mapou with Willo or Saylor. At the start of the season I wanted Colo/Saylor but I would stick with Mapou/Willo for the time being. Tbh the sooner we can transition Colo out the side the better. Although the same thing applies to all of our CB's except Mapou.

Andymc1
Steady on. As per usual the praise on here for Dummett was incredibly OTT but that's incredibly harsh. Not really. That's his level, he'll never be a Premier League regular. See Huntington, Edgar, Ramage, Kadar and Tavernier will be another.
Ronaldo
Based on what, by the way?
Andymc1
Based on what, by the way? When he played in Scotland he was just a bang average SPL player. Even at conference level for Gateshead he didn't really stand out from the rest, he just looked comfortable at that level - granted I only seen him for Gateshead 3/4 times. When he has played for us I think he has been awful - especially in the game he scored v Liverpool he was all over the place and he got really lucky that Sturridge wasn't on song. I may be being slightly over critical but I don't think he's good enough for this level. He's 22 year old and has played for us in 3 league games, he'll be another in a long list of players who waste their time trying to get into a PL team instead of going out and getting himself a full time club. He'll still be here at 26/27 with about 25 appearances to his name.
STM
Never heard so much tosh in all my life. So Dummet has now been written off, even though he has performed admirably in most of the games he played. Christ.

KDT
A left back playing centre back against arguably the best forward partnership in the league is going to look a little out of place.

Andymc1
I dont know what people have seen that makes them have a good opinion of him. He was awful against Liverpool and Sunderland. Scoring a goal shouldn't mask what was a poor defensive showing, including schoolboy defending when standing still appealing for offside. I know everyone likes to have a local lad playing and trying his best but he is massively out of his depth.

KDT
Give him a chance to play left back before writing him off, I don't think anyone is expecting him to be a brilliant centre half.
The College Dropout
Was poor against City too tbf. Navas is an excellent winger but Paul looked very slow on the turn. Doesn't look to be a natural fullback imo

Andymc1
What in any of the performances he's made at centre back suggests to you that his position? If that's aimed at me then nothing in his performances suggest he's a centre back. He doesn't seem to have the normal attributes to be a full back either which was shown in the second half vs Man City although I think his failings would be less obvious in the lower leagues or in the SPL. Like I said, he didn't stand out in the few times I seen him at conference level. Although Centre Back isn't his position I would have still liked to have seen some knowledge of the game and a bit know how when doing basic defending but it wasn't there for me. I'll be very, very surprised if Dummett ends up a steady PL performer. This is Colos thread though so lets not go too far off topic though.

It was so bad he got subbed after being subbed on. Anita I think it was dropped back there and looked much better.

KDT
Dummett was injured during the Man City cup game which is why he was subbed.
